On 28 October EFE wrote that two National Police officers and three Moroccan citizens who had entered irregularly on 30 July were testifying that Wednesday before Judge María Tardón. Europa Press and 20minutos attributed the content of those statements to people present. On 29 October El Español published the standfirst of what a sub-inspector said about the government delegate. All of it is testimony reported by outlets. It is not a proven fact and there is no judicial ruling.
- EFE, 28 October: “Two officers of the National Police and three Moroccan citizens who entered the autonomous city of Ceuta irregularly on 30 July are testifying this Wednesday before National Court judge María Tardón.”
- Europa Press, citing judicial sources: the three migrants “have identified Moroccan officers to the judge as people who drove the mass entry” and “have said that they put up no obstacle”. The outlet adds that they saw trucks and buses. That is what the outlet attributes to their testimony.
- Europa Press, on a National Police border chief: “they organised the migrants into groups which they let through progressively”. The same account says his Moroccan counterpart told him the situation was normal. That is his statement, according to the outlet.
- 20minutos, citing people present: an officer said Moroccan commanders at the border organised “waves” to enter Ceuta on 30 July, and that the head of Morocco’s border police told him “everything was normal”. This is not merged with the different sentence El Español attributes to a Spanish brigade chief.
- El Español, 29 October, in the standfirst of a paywalled piece: a sub-inspector said “The brigade chief tells me that if the [government] delegate said nothing, everything was normal.” That is the testimony the outlet attributes to him, not a conclusion about the delegate’s decision.
