El Faro covered a minors’ march on 30 October and a motorcyclists’ gathering on the 31st

On 30 October El Faro de Ceuta wrote that a group marched from the Paseo del Revellín to the Higher Police Headquarters. On 31 October it wrote that motorcyclists went from El Chorrillo to the plaza de los Reyes and that food was collected for Cáritas. Neither piece gives an attendance figure. The organiser’s sentence is a slogan, not a finding. The dates that piece gives for earlier gatherings are not recorded here: they do not add up.

• El Faro, 30 October: “To the shout of ‘we want a minors’ centre!’, the group set off towards the headquarters.” The outlet gives no attendance number. What the banners ask for is the group’s demand, not a care figure.
• El Faro, 31 October: the gathering went from the Chorrillo esplanade to the plaza de los Reyes, with a food collection for Cáritas Diocesana de Ceuta. The outlet gives no attendance figure. It writes that the Local Police and the National Police guided the route.
• The organiser, according to El Faro: “The aim is the defence of Ceuta after the invasion we have recently had.” That is the slogan of the person who called the gathering, not a finding of this archive.
