Fact

On 31 October the Government of Ceuta said ordinary returns remain at zero

On 31 October EFE wrote that councillors Alejandro Ramírez and Alberto Gaitán, of the Government of Ceuta, lamented “zero returns” by the ordinary administrative route and that the situation “has not changed one bit”. That is a statement by that political side. Gaitán repeats about 13,215 voluntary returns and 608 expulsions, the figures already recorded on 27 October. They are not a new count.

  • EFE: the Government of Ceuta “lamented this Saturday” that there have been “zero returns” and that the situation “has not changed one bit”. Ramírez, according to the outlet: “there has been no return by the administrative route.”
  • Gaitán, according to EFE: “as for ordinary return procedures, they are still giving a figure that right now is zero.” Also: “we only know the figures for voluntary returns, which are still at about 13,215, and the expulsions […] which were already at 608.” Those two figures are those of 27 October. They are not updated here.
  • The 73 reports on minors and the figures for who remains, given at the same press conference, are on their own entries. They are not turned into a returns balance.
