Robles said the CNI warned on 29 July; Marlaska denied that any report had given that warning

RTVE reported two accounts from 25 August 2026. Robles said CNI officials told the Government Delegation on 29 July of a call to enter by swimming the next day. Marlaska denied that there was a report warning of it, and the Delegation later said it received no report warning of what would happen on 30 July.

• RTVE attributes this description to Robles: on 29 July, CNI officials in Ceuta conveyed at the Government Delegation the call for the next day, to enter by swimming, taking advantage of a festival in the neighboring country.
• RTVE attributes to Marlaska, the same 25 August, a denial that there was «any report» warning of that entry.
• RTVE reports a later statement by the Government Delegation in Ceuta: it «at no time» received «any report warning of what was going to happen on 30 July».
