On 25 August neighbours from Fiscer protested against housing migrants; organisers say more than 300

Neighbours from around Fiscer called it on social media, from Fiscer to the plaza de los Reyes and the Hotel Ulises. The motive was rejection of possible housing of migrants in military and sports facilities. The slogan is attributed, not a finding: «Ceuta no es un CETI». Ceuta Actualidad is a local outlet. There was tension at the hotel and traffic was cut. No arrest is recorded.

• Ceuta Actualidad wrote that the police set a cordon to stop the crowd advancing, at the Hotel Ulises, because of a rumour that minister Ángel Víctor Torres was there.
