The Civil Guard reported that about 200 people tried to breach the Ceuta fence and were turned back

A Civil Guard report dated 31 July 2026, published by La Moncloa on 9 September, says: “As regards the fence, at about 00:30 a group of some 200 sub-Saharan people was detected who were apparently trying to breach it, although they were successfully turned back.” The report mentions no damage or injuries.
