On 4 September ABC wrote that police reports estimate that at least 17,000 minors entered. The same text says the Government puts at 1,478 the minors taken into the centres set up for them. These are two different magnitudes. They are not replaced by the October care figures.

• ABC wrote that “the Police estimates that this number of minors reached at least 17,000.”
• ABC wrote that “the Government puts at 1,478 the minors taken in at the various centres set up for them.”
• The estimate of entries and the care figure are not added or averaged.
