The four religious communities (Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu) and the Federación Provincial de Asociaciones de Vecinos (FPAV) called it. There were no party initials, by decision of the organisers. La Razón writes that the initial call came from the four religious communities. The slogan is attributed, not a finding: «Basta ya. Ceuta no se rinde». Other attributed slogans, not findings: «Ceuta no se vende», «Sánchez, dimisión», «Ceuta es española», «presidente, no estás solo». No incident is cited. Mundiario records murmuring that stopped a tribute from being completed. El Debate, like La Razón, speaks of thousands, with no separate figure.
- La Razón wrote that thousands of Ceuta residents gathered that Sunday in the plaza de la Constitución for a mass demonstration initially called by the four religious communities of the autonomous city, under the slogan «Basta ya. Ceuta no se rinde». The slogan is attributed.
- Mundiario attributes «more than 10,000» people to the organisers. That is the organisers’ figure, not the police figure.
- Mundiario is the single source for the police figure. It wrote that the organisers put attendance at more than 10,000, while the Policía Nacional put it somewhat above 5,000. That police figure is not averaged with the organisers’ more than 10,000.
- A demand from the manifesto, via Mundiario, not a finding of this archive: «Ceuta cannot face alone a situation that far exceeds its capacities and that affects Spain and Europe as a whole.»
