Italy has extended by 15 days the Schengen suspension with Spain

On 31 August Europa Press wrote that the Italian Government adopted a further 15-day extension of the suspension of the Schengen free-movement agreement. It is an extension of the measure announced on 31 July. On its own it does not state the day the controls ended.

  • Europa Press wrote: “The Government of Italy has this Monday adopted a further 15-day extension of the suspension of the Schengen free-movement agreement.”
  • The 31 July card records the initial announcement of one month from 1 August. This card only adds the extension.
