On 28 August the Interior Ministry asked for Frontex and Europol support for screening

On 28 August La Moncloa wrote that Spain had asked the European Commission for the support of Frontex and Europol for screening work. It is an Interior note. On 9 September the Commission linked aid and an operational response to a Spanish request of 24 August. This card does not say whether they are the same request or two different ones.

• The note says: “Spain has asked the European Commission for the support of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) and of Europol for screening work.”
