On 2 September there were anti-racist gatherings in Callao, in Bilbao and in other cities

In Madrid the Asamblea Internacionalista called it, with support from Podemos. The slogan is attributed, not a finding: «Paremos los pies al racismo». In Bilbao Ongi Etorri Errefuxiatuak called it. The «hundreds» at Callao and the «hundreds» in Bilbao are each outlet’s estimate. They are not added together.

• El Periódico de España, on Callao: hundreds of people gathered that Wednesday in Madrid’s Plaza de Callao. The subheading says this was without clashes.
• Público: a call which, together with Madrid, took place in 15 provincial capitals such as Burgos, Granada, Santander or Málaga.
• Europa Press, on Bilbao: hundreds of people in Bilbao demanded «responsibility and humanity» for the migrants in Ceuta. The convener the material records is Ongi Etorri Errefuxiatuak.
